About Leadership International
Vision
Leadership International aims to develop, support and inspire great leadership that is
relevant, effective and sustainable, in business, government, politics and faith communities.
Goals
- Impact national governments to achieve the delivery of significant leadership programmes that transcend race, cultural and religious boundaries.
- Support building of leadership capacity with the goal of creating economic and social benefits in national, organisational and community contexts.
- Develop nation-specific facilities for the formal training, equipping and inspiring of leaders.
- Build relationships with leaders to facilitate networks of support, mentoring and encouragement.
- Build relationships with churches and para-church enterprises through their leaders, who materially influence the outputs of their congregations and organisations by their leadership effectiveness.
- Provide an independent voice that enables timely input that will help, encourage and strengthen church and para-church communities by working with their leaders.
Key objectives
Provide programmes, resources, networks and mentoring that:
- Share insights and experiences that enable development of leadership capacity.
- Assist in clear understanding of the particular challenge of 3rd millennium leadership.
- Give understanding as to why leaders fail and provide relevant learning.
- Explore the 'driven to lead' syndrome, tackling modern problems and anticipating future ones.
- Enable development of a vision.
- Explain and encourage value-centred leadership.
- Enable capacity building for individuals to be outstanding leaders in challenging times.
